“Came from Cardiff for the football very helpful and friendly staff. Room was extremely clean and spacious beds were lovely and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing nothing too much trouble. Lady serving breakfast was really lovely. Would definitely recommend it and will use again.”
”My friend and I were visiting to see Everton play and selected the Breeze based on reviews and its location to the ground. What a fantastic place! Rooms are very clean and tidy. Owners are so friendly and so was everyone we met. Breakfast was top class.....don't bother looking anywhere else, just book a room here.”
”Great value and nice breakfast. Only a short distance from Goodison Park. Beds were comfortable and really modern. Staff couldn't have helped or made the stay any better defo use this hotel again. PS thanks for the help and jump cables when the car wouldn't start.”
”My boyfriend and I stayed at the Breeze in September on a trip that brought us to Liverpool to attend a football match and explore Liverpool. The Breeze was recommended by an acquaintance of ours. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Breeze - the room was clean, comfortable and quiet, the owners were very friendly and accommodating (even let us use the washing machine!), and the breakfasts were the best we had during our UK trip (full English breakfast.... we definitely ate more than we needed to, it was so tasty!). The one caveat I would add is that the neighbourhood is just on the outskirts of Liverpool City Centre. So if you are looking to spend most of your time in downtown Liverpool, you may want to consider a Delta Taxi rather than a black cab, it only cost £5. That being said, the weekend we visited there was a home game for LFC (one of the resident football / soccer teams) so other options were simply out of our price range.”
“My wife and I stayed on a Saturday night and I honestly can say this was brilliant value and will definitely return. The rooms are clean fresh and the breakfast was excellent and the staff could not do enough for you. Anyone worried about the location to the city centre need not as a taxi was only £7.50 and of course car parking is available at no cost at the hotel.”
“I genuinely have nothing negative to say about the Breeze. I stayed in a single room which was clean and comfortable, and had everything I required. The room was much bigger than I expected, had a nice en-suite, tea/coffee and a few books as well as a TV. Breakfast was great - plenty to eat - and all of the staff both at check-in and breakfast were incredibly friendly and helpful. I travelled to and from the city centre using Merseyrail at around £3.50 return, about a 10 minute walk to the station and a 10 minute journey on the train - no need for a taxi and busses were also available. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again, or recommend to friends and family.”
“Pros- nice big room, comfy bed, Wi-Fi in room, quiet, small selection of books in room, really nice touch, lovely breakfast, very personable owners, very reasonable price. Cons- wasn't any, wish it was a little closer to the city centre but was worth the train/cab ride out and a better quality hotel than some city centre box rooms. Thanks for the hospitality.”
